Re: The Walking Dead (spoilers for recent epi)

On one hand, I loved this week's episode. On the other hand the increasing use of background music (specially when it's not instrumental music) in certain scenes it's driving me up the wall.

One of the things I loved about TWD is how the atmosphere was never dependent of music. How quite was everything didn't stop them to create different kinds of "feelings" for each scene.

Now the (increasing use of) music feels so intrusive and breaks the atmosphere instead of reinforcing it or even creating it.
