Ah I see. I only got into post-game stuff this gen too, I used to just go through the main story line before putting the games down. It took me long enough though tbh, I've been playing since RBY and X is the first time I've played longer than 100 hours :]

Haha yep, sounds about right. Chrestomanci is famous for his lovely dove-grey suit. You should finish it if you ever get the chance though, there are so many amazing characters in the series and I really do think it's her best work, even better than Howl's Moving Castle (which is way overrated imo).

Yeah, I agree with you about the later Disc books. UA is still acceptable to me although I still ignore most of it in terms of canonity (there are some parts with Ridcully giving an overly-long and really dumb commentary that are just embarrassing to read for me), even as much as I admire Pterry for continuing to write even through his failing health. Have you read Raising Steam? I think it was better than Snuff, definitely more readable by a mile, and there are actually quite a few parts with Drumknott in it that I appreciate a lot. I just wish that bigger role had been given to him in an earlier book since there are so many parts that are just downright upsetting too ...

PS Sorry for the late-night reply, it's exam week at my school. I swear I'm not usually this busy haha

I do want to revisit DWJ someday, so thanks for the tip!

Nope, haven't read Raising Steam yet. That's a relief. But even if it were bad reviews all around (I haven't actually looked, but I think it's not the case), Discworld has too much of a hold on me for me to give up seeing it through.

Haha, don't worry about it :)
