You know what? I had a similar reaction and I was more devastated that I realised I could be when I read the news yesterday.

Anyway OP can't help their timing but it's definitely added an extra morbid angle to their secret.

Isn't this the sort of thing the Mod should filter out? I mean, Mod must not have missed the news about Nimoy dying. Maybe contacting the OP and saying: hey, because of the timing of RL events I'm not going to post your secret.

I don't see why that's necessary. if OP didn't want the secret posted in light of his death, then they should have contacted case themselves. he doesn't filter secrets out just because they're inappropriate (unless they're personal attacks or super obvious trolls) and I don't know why anyone would want him to
