I dunno about (deaaaaaaad) families but I can attest that tumblr is directly responsible for destroying a relationship.

Right, okay, to put it really simple my best friend's girlfriend got into Gundam 00 fandom on tumblr and then pretty much devolved into this raging SJW angry at everything, declared herself agender, decided my friend had been abusing her all these years 'cuz she was agender and my friend was trying to force her into a little box, broke up with her and started banging someone she met on tumblr while still in the same apartment (and financially abusing my friend all the while) and basically started hitting every single stereotype of the typical screaming tumblr SJW there was. Best part is when she tried to claim that tumblrina was racist against central Europeans.

Yes I believe this is a 100% accurate and objetive assessment of the situation which is not, of course, made up at all.
