(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 12:33 am (UTC)(link)(I don't know if you remember me, but you told me to try Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines because I liked Deus Ex. I did enjoy it and am still playing it.)
Re: Fictional character comparisons
It's difficult to find now because it's not on Steam for some reason, but it's better than reviews might have you believe.

(Oddly enough, I like playing the Wipeout racing games 'cuz I get this massive sense of vertigo that makes my balls recede into my lungs...)

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)I'm not very much into videogames atm, but the videogames I want to try next are the ones you recommend.
You have strong opinions and stand by them, and I can see why some people might be turned off by that, but personally I don't mind, even when you say things I don't necessarily agree with.
tl;dr: You're a pretty all right guy, I'm glad you're around. c:
Re: Fictional character comparisons
(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)Typing this before I lose my nerve:
What I really like about you is that you look at communities doing nasty things (sexism, prejudice, exclusion, etc.) and you don't stay quiet. You denounce them for what they are. You point at them and say "this is not okay".
You are a good person who wishes to share what you like with others, AND who wants to see the communities built around those things become better places for everyone, and I think you don't get enough recognition for that.
