Gaming gate has a lot of misogenisitc bullshit but it's stated intention doesn't sound so bad. It's nto unreasonable somebody might think there's an issue there. And they don't see the bad shit, or they see the other sides bad shit.

The key is to remember other people think differently to you. What's obvious to you might be farfetched to another, and vice versa. Same reason anti-abortion wonder why all those people want to kill babies and all the pro-choice folks wonder why so many men and women want to restrict their reporductive writes.

That said, Gamgergate got so toxic nobody should want to be involved. If their purported causes are going to be championed, like it was already said here, it's gonna need a new name cause that one's tainted.
