34. I always hear this argument. "Hate is a strong emotion to feel for a fictional character". Isn't that, you know, kind of the point of most fictional characters? To make the reader/viewer/player feel something? Feel pity, or love, or remorse? Hate's not so far off, honestly. How flattered would someone be that they made a character so believable that people actually hate them?

I can't say I do much character bashing (EXCEPT ON AXEL LOL) but just because you hate someone doesn't necessarily mean you're a negative nancy.

my first OTP, too!! i've stopped following the ffvii fandom in general, but even before that, i had stopped reading aeris/cloud fics because none of them were any where near good. can't say the same applies now, but, god, those were some really good days. ignorance is near bliss.
