As if any relationship Sasuke has isn't toxic. (I don't really have a horse in this race, but...seriously, Sasuke is all kinds of fucked up and from what I've heard probably deserved to die alone. I get why the creator didn't have that happen, but I doubt Sasuke/Sakura is any less messed up.)

Ehhh... I never said SS wasn´t fucked up, I´m saying just because SNS is malexmale doesn´t mean isn´t toxic, I don´t like the idea that males cannot be abused specially by other males.

Gotcha, but I don't think anyone was saying that guys can't be abused by guys? I think this anon was saying they think lots of slash ships are more interesting/better written than canon ones, not anything specific about Naruto.

(You are totes allowed to like Sasuke/Sakura btw, just saying I doubt it is any healthier.)

I don´t like SS( I like their daughter tho) and I do think SNS is better(OP pic is cute), people can like fucked up relationship, I myself like incest and teacher/student relationship but I have seen A LOT of people talking like Naruto and Sasuke was the best romance ever when the whole manga kinda shitty.

Ah, yeah. I don't think Kishimoto even knew SNS was a thing (He'd mentioned in the past he had no idea it was popular outside of Japan, as he never really had much free time) I have a feeling he would be put off by it, though, since Sasuke and Naruto are based on him and his twin brother.

Obviously the magical ninja revenge isn't part of it. I think he meant the fighting/not seeing eye to eye/Feeling each other's pain thing? Who knows, though. His brother did 666 Satan and that manga is all kinds of fucked up LOL

It seems we have similar taste then. (Because a good portion of my ships are kind of fucked up, a few are incest, and I have read and enjoyed teacher/student stuff on occasion.)

The most fic I read in Naruto fandom was Kakashi/Iruka, mainly because I loved both characters (and wanted Iruka to show up more). I never did much shipping with the main three.

Well, Naruto isn't close to my favorite manga, but everyone is different. I imagine the people who grew up reading it have a bias (and maybe some nostalgia for the earlier bits), which isn't unusual.
