And he was also in a bunch of other great and really disparate roles. He's not typecast at all, but he's always just "that guy" in the background or who sometimes gives exposition or a funny line.

He was so damn good in Generation Kill that I started kind of following his career. It bugs me that he's got real talent that basically never gets used in a leading role.
