I dunno, I've hated her since her rape rap meltdown, and has always seemed to me like she was a very pretentious holier than thou type.

I've hated her since the City of Bones review where she straight up didn't care about anything related to CC's history or constant bragging of interfering with the movie and instead pinned the bombing of said movie on the grubby hands of the evil men mucking up YA book adaptions.

Yeah, she didn't really watch or read the 'girl' stuff and stated she wasn't comfortable being the NChick, she was just in desperate need of a paycheck at the time.

I'll always be a bit sore at her for the Smurfette video, where she calls Helga 'female Arnold'. That was so, so wrong, it hurts. Because Helga is probably one of the best female cartoon characters from the 90's, and she's nothing like Arnold. (And even the creator said HA had basically become the Helga show at the end of its run)

She has never shown to actually research the things she was supposedly reviewing. It's all her personal spin on feminism, and it basically boils to "if I like it, it's ok", no matter how problematic it might be.

And no one should ever dare to correct her, or she'll go ballistic against them. See, the Dune video.

Yeah, her and Doug have that in common (McNitpick and the fangirl characters, jeeze) I remember his Little Monsters review where he complains about Boy coming out of nowhere, when they had been mentioning him from the first part of the movie.

Don't forget the Sailor Moon review, where he looked at pretty much the first ten episodes of the Dic hack and slash dub, proclaimed all the characters and the series stupid, and had no business reviewing it even in the sense of Nostalgia to begin with. He caved to the beggars in his 'fandom' and gave them just what they deserved- one big pile of shit.

That one I hated, because Sailor Moon is such a touchy subject-As it's one of those rare female power fantasy shows that does a good job of being empowering. He should have never touched it, as it was painfully obvious he didn't want to.

DA I'm not sure he watched even ONE episode of Sailor Moon, let alone 10. The first 10 episodes of the DiC dub do a pretty good job debunking damn near everything he says in that review.

He seems to have some older views about gender, going by the Princess Diaries review, so I think he was looking at is as he thought a dude would. Though that's part of the joke with the NC character (I think.)
