Why unhealthy, though? If the person isn't hurting anyone else and they're happy, why is it a bad thing? My best friend is asexual and it really bothers me the amount of crap she gets from our supposedly "liberal", "open-minded" group of friends.

It can seem kind of weird at first because it's so uncommon, but after all the shit I've gotten over being bi I'm sure as hell not going to judge someone else for something that doesn't affect anyone but them.
