My husband washes the dishes. (I do most of the cooking.) He makes sure to keep a bar of chocolate that I like on hand for when I'm sad. When we're carrying groceries to the car, he insists on carrying the heaviest items. He reads my fanfiction and tells me what he likes about it, even though he's not really into the fandom.

Yes to dishes! And the carrying the heavy stuff in from the car. I also love when he has me pick out something to watch since we usually watch what he wants or I watch what I want in another room. But the best is when he does something for the kids or the dog that isn't fun, like folding laundry or picking up the yard.
