If there should have been one guyxguy pairing including Naruto at the end of the manga, it should have been NarutoxGaara. Way more healthy, way more loving. Even canonically Gaara feels pretty strongly about Naruto and vice versa.

Yesssss, they had such a lovely friendship and obviously think the world of each other (one of my favorite scenes in the latter part of the manga is when everyone gets trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Most of them dream about romantic relationships while Gaara's ultimate fantasy is simply having a loving, happy childhood that includes having Naruto as his best friend. So sweet). Definitely my favorite Naruto pairing.

I knowwwww that scene killed me. I do think that at the end, Gaara ends up visiting Naruto quite often and vice versa, so in a way he got what he wanted ;v;
