Mixed race white/asian children

(Anonymous) 2015-03-04 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
Is there a reason that they seem to have greater issues with personal identity?

Perhaps this is just my perspective, it's just I've noticed that they seem to on average be more concerned with it. Yet culturally they seem to get significantly less criticism or attacks based on their background compared to say a black/asian kid.

How does this work out abroad?

Unless you can find some kind of study supporting this idea, you are just BSing about some stupid Tumblr meme day and trying to start wank.

Yes. It seems that way because of your confirmation bias.

I don't think we can really have this conversation until someone brings evidence to the table rather than personal anecdote. I'm not really aware of white-asian children getting more or less criticism than black-asian children, except that in western countries I suppose being half-white is usually going to give you more social privilege than being half-black.

Is this some dumb 4chan crap where "Eurasian" males complain about not being able to get laid, because *~*All Women*~* are "whores" who only want tall white/black guys with foot long penises?

Because, yeah, that's not reality. That's just some bitter virgins who don't know their problems are having a shitty personality/view of women and not the fact that they're Asian/white.

I've never seen that and i live in a part of the US with a lot of mixed white/asian people (SF Bay Area)

I know a couple mixed white/Asian actors who have talked about identity (David Henney, Remy Hii) but I don't think they have greater issues with it than others who are mixed race.

And they don't get less attacks. I've seen posts about "not liking Whasians" or "what are you? ?????:"
