I don't want him as a villain, I want him off the show. He's just so aggressively bland and awful. He was the worst part of every episode he was in, starting with the pilot.

I honestly believe that his defenders are having pants-feelings because they like his face, and making up whatever justifications they need as a post-hoc rationalization.

I suppose you mean people that excuse his actions? Because some people do like characters that happen to be horrible people. They can find them interesting and fascinating while still acknowledging they aren't good and no one should ever want to be like them.

I'm not sure who these 'Ward Warriors' are, but I don't understand anyone who thinks that Ward is a complete innocent and not a shit for the things he's done. (If they like him despite that or even because of that, I don't mind. Otherwise, I'm confused.)

IMO Ward is more intriguing now that he's evil, but I'm still tired of him.
