Is that the album she pulled from spotify? Her stans had to get the music somehow. Personally, I would just wait a few years and pick it out of the 99 cent bin at Walmart, but I'm not a pop fan.

Yeah, agreed. It's a shame that she couldn't make more sophisticated, adult music in there. Bang some super heavy guitar and some screaming in there, and maybe you'd have the kind of serious artistic merit that will last through the ages.

Well, Amon Amarth formed in 1992 and their latest album came out in 2013. I'd say we metal heads are doing okay.

Pet Shop Boys started in 1981 and also put out an album in 2013.

From this, I deduce that pop music is better than metal, by precisely 11.

Metallica formed in 1981 as well. And I hear them on the radio a lot more often than I hear the Pet Shop Boys.

Pet Shop Boys is synthpop, a genre that's outdated now.
