Re: Your Olympic athlete body match

I've tried having it in the evening, but I often go over my calorie limit during the day and then I can't have the meat. I had some of it go bad on me and given how expensive it is, I just prefer to eat it in the morning that way I won't risk throwing it out.

The donuts were free food and...I just wasn't strong enough to turn it down.

I didn't have time to prep anything for lunch in the morning so I'll admit I went and bought stuff from the vending machine.

The kit kat was, admittedly, pure self-indulgence because I love chocolate and god do I crave sugar.

But...yeah...I should have made smarter choices.

Although I'd love to know where you can get 200 calorie sandwiches because a hamburger bun with a slice of cheese is already 170 calories.

They sell bread that has like 40 calories a slice. It's not the best thing in the world for you, but if calories are your main concern... Load that up with the veggies and skip the cheese and you're looking at a decent sandwich.

Prepare your lunch the night before. You're almost never going to have time in the morning.

Good, nutritious wholemeal bread is 50-60 calories a slice. It's actually quite good for you, and would certainly help OP with feeling fuller.

Where the hell are you people finding your food?

Where are you?

Because when I look it up: https://www.google.com/search?q=calories+in+a+slice+of+wholemeal+bread&oq=calories+in+a+slice+of+wholemeal+bread&aqs=chrome..69i57.5111j0j1&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8

It says one slice is 69 calories

And one slice of cheese is 98: https://www.google.com/search?q=calories+in+a+slice+of+whole+wheat+bread&oq=calories+in+a+slice+of+whole+wheat+bread&aqs=chrome..69i57.5575j0j1&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8#q=calories+in+a+slice+of+cheese

Right there that's 236 calories -- and there's no meat or condiments on that...

The nutrition info on the loaf in my kitchen right now says 55 cals per slice.

I don't know where you are, but I'm sitting here looking at a pre-packed supermarket tuna sandwich that's just over 300 calories for two. So that'd be 150-160 cals a sandwich. Both sandwiches would make up a full meal, and you'd still be well within your 400 calories per meal thing.

Stop looking at 'this many calories a day'. Look at "I need to eat X amount of times a day, evenly spaced out, and these individual means need to be around Y amount of calories" and make your decisions from that.

Ummm...are you sure that's 300 calories for two. Because when I look it up

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/16250327

It says it's 370 calories PER sandwich.
