+1 I get why people feel May or Skye should get to take the shot, but Simmons has just as many, if not more, compelling reasons to be the one to off him. And it would be so delightfully unexpected, which wouldn't hurt. But I'm not sure I'd want to see what being an actual murderer would do to Simmons, so.

She's going to be on pro-reg side of Civil War anyway, so it'd probably help her arc to villain-dom which that entails. She wouldn't frame it as a murder, but as an execution. For the good of the rest of us and all that.
