Well, with my sister being laid off, we may have to postpone our trip to NYC another year. Which will suck but necessity comes first.

Also, I have another chalazion on my eye. Trying hot compresses but they don't seem to be working. Looks like another trip to get my eyelid cut open is in my future.

Both of those things suck. But look on the bright side: you have a stash of money for emergencies/the trip that you wouldn't have otherwise had. Now you can use that money for emergencies, or keep adding to your NYC fund so you can do more stuff when you get there.

Yeah, hopefully this means I'll be able so save up another 1500 and get a fancy hotel for at least one night!

A silver lining. My best hopes to your sister on the job hunt. I've been laid off before and it's not fun. :(

Let's just hope Lion King doesn't go off Broadway before 2016!
