After he rapes her in the school library, the main couple have a teen pregnancy resulting in a daughter who exists purely to be paired off with their best friend - who's Totally Not Gay (TM) despite being infatuated with the male lead. How convenient that said daughter turns out to be a female version of her dad!

Wow yeah, I love when the author pulls the "No homo just overly infatuated with my bff" thing and then pairs the character with their bff daughter. Yup, makes total sense! (And I'm being very sarcastic here).

Oh and if they turn out gay? They dieeee.

eta: Oh, this reminds me how the Usagi Drop manga epilogue where the little girl ends up with the dude who raised her when she's older.

It really is kinda ridiculous... Friend will do stuff like staring dreamily into MMC's eyes while sighing, "Oh, if only you were female, you would be my ideal woman!", and getting all jealous and hostile towards MFC and trying to drive her away. But he's definitely not gay!

I actually knew a dude like that in real life, minus the creepy daughter grooming bit. He's got a g-friend now who thankfully seems nothing like male friend.
