I feel the same way with the Junjou series (due to that, I didn't watch/read "Sekai ichi Hatsukoi"), and Haru wo Daite Ita. It's just not my favorite BL mangas (even though they're highly regarded as "classics"). If anything, I much prefer "Mirai no Kioku", "Mousou Elektel", "Hidoku Shinaide", "Doushitemo Furetakunai", "Surf Junkie", "Doushiyoumo Nai Keredo", "Tight Rope", "Sangen Tonari no Tooi Hito" and "Hand Which". Even though it's a different genre all together, I enjoy bara/guchi machi BL these days (mainly works by Mentaiko, Takeshi Matsu and
Inaki Matsumoto).

Are we talking about BL manga we love now?

If so, I'm giving "Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru" and "Sojou no Koi wa Nido Haneru" my vote as well as "Double Mints" (same author as Doushitemo) and "Orokomono wa Aka wo Kirau" and honestly anything else by those authors.

There's so much really good BL out there these days. I think a lot of people think it's all like Okane ga Nai or something, but the genre's come a long way since I first read Gravitation...

That's weird, Okane ga nai IS really good bl, for me those just fall into the "meh, forgettable" category.

Yes, even though OP said that they don't like the most popular series (which is why I've mentioned the Junjou series and Haru wo Daite Ita).

What I've listed is my current favorites (forgot to add Itsumo Miteiru Mono Dakara, Aitsu no Daihonmei and Konya mo Nemurenai, plus some of Tsukumo Gou's stuff like Saihate no Armit and Immoral Pure Love), which are all good. I've never read the ones you've listed and I might give them a try someday (though, as previously mentioned, despite me liking some BL, I'm more into the bara/guchi machi BL).

I agree, there's so much good BL these days. Even though it's an oldie, I think Fake is an underrated series (not many people are talking about it and the series has it's good moments, IMO).
