I have been throwing a bunch of prompts out on my fandom's kink meme. Most of them are legitimate prompts. None of them are ones I wouldn't actually be interested in. But, yeah, I've thrown some weird ones out there just to change it up.

One of those actually got a fic! And it was really good. I was so surprised but the author said she was really taken with the idea and just couldn't stop writing.

I think that's awesome. I don't expect most of my prompts to get written. I just like to throw ideas out and see if there's any interest. Getting a fic is a bonus for me. It's just so interesting to see which of my prompts attract attention. It's almost never the ones I'd bet on.

And just think that right now one of my other prompts might have someone writing it who never said anything like this author who now just posted a huge masterpiece. It's kind of exciting.
