Huh-uh you aren't a bitter biased person that probably hates Austen for being 'boring'. Also how is an adult women and an adult men hooking up at all creepy?

An 18-year-old "adult" woman (and wasn't she 16 when Brandon first became interested?) and a 35-year-old adult man hooking up? Yeah, just a little creepy. In fairness, though, I don't think even Austen endorsed their hooking up when Marianne was that young (there was a line Elinor said about how '16 and 35 probably better not have anything to do with each other.'
