honestly i think people should be able to cosplay whoever and however they want without fear or risk of being mocked relentlessly for it. people should have the freedom to have fun and feel comfortable in the process. they arent hurting anybody. it's really easy to keep negativity to yourself if you think someone doesnt have the proper body type for a certain character or costume or whatever, and it's our responsibility as (hopefully) decent people to not harass or abuse people who are minding their own business
