(Anonymous) 2015-03-09 06:13 am (UTC)(link)A lot of people think that dieting = starving yourself for a month > losing weight > deciding that the goal was reached and they can stop dieting > going back to eating too much. And then, naturally, they regain weight and decide that dieting in general doesn't work. The only diet that actualy works is a permanenet lifestyle change.
I can completely understand that for a lo of people it's just not worth the effort. I don't think it's necessary for people to value being thin over eating what you like when you like and as much as you like. But I don't like it when people feel the need to justify their choices with a lie that it's not actually their choice.
