*sigh* Yeah, I know. If you want quality radio programming in the U.S., it's either NPR or nothing, really. Everything else that's interested has moved to podcasts. The UK has a lot more variety than we do.

As someone who rediscovered the hilarity of I'm Sorry I Haven't A clue, I feel you.

Is it back on? Missed that show.

The Davros and Dr Who correspondence about the patio was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

Well, there was a series in the winter, which gave highlights like the lyrics of Milkshakes to the tune of Ruler of the queens navy.
But also, youtube. that works too.

The new Clue with Jack Dee is just as good as the classic episodes. Even better, since they've stopped the cheap homophobic jokes at the expense of Lionel Blair which were the only sour spot in this otherwise excellent programme.

One Song To The Tune Of Another is simple genius.

I listen to BBC radio more than I watch TV. The World Service documentaries especially are amazing, and so diverse and fascinating.

You should check out cbc.ca (http://www.cbc.ca/), the website for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It's a child of the BBC, with similar types of programs. If you're close to the Canadian border you may be able to pick them up with a radio; but they're online as well and you can stream all their shows.

I miss the days of hearing the announcer add "...and around the world on short wave, this is 'As It Happens'." :( No one but the military and ham enthusiasts use short wave anymore. You can get them on Sirius Satellite and online, but there's no more tuning into shows from the other side of the world in short wave. Still, the website has all their TV and radio shows, so it's more convenient.

BTW, you guys should check out the show "This Is That (http://www.cbc.ca/radio/thisisthat)" there. Totally hilarious troll show, presented as real, and people keep falling for it and calling to complain about things they hear on it, despite the credits saying "performed and improvised by". Troll on, CBC. You're doing God's work. :D

This looks interesting, thanks anon!

Yes OP, you are the only one of your generation who listens to radio. You're also the only one who really appreciates The Beatles.

Trolling people who like NPR and BBC Radio is the saddest trolling of all.

Text: I love [BBC Radio logo]’s comedy and dramas, and the documentaries/informational programmes both here and on [NPR logo].

I gave up for my local radio programming because there are no signs of similar-quality or even -type things ever being made. And the World Service FM signal can be pretty bad: makes me wonder who regularly listens to that.

s!b lol anglo public radio. lol public radio. lol radio, period. (I listen through podcasts and iPlayer if anyone’s wondering)

I don't know if it'll work for you OP, but you should be able to download a huge amount of BBC podcasts here -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts

Not the same as listening in real-time I know, but still something.
