I agree, but you can't deny their chemistry. Honestly the books are such trainwrecks that the shipping is probably the only think that keeps me in this fandom.

They do have chemistry, but I can't see Aiofe being really happy with him. I just want Aiofe/happiness. (Also, I'm just not a big fan of Eirik.)

Text: I really want Eirik and Aiofe to get together. I haven’t wanted a ship to be canon this bad in a long time.

But I know I’d be unhappy if it happened I think it would detract from the books. On top of that, I feel weird, b/c I haven’t shipped het in a very long time. And now I have this het ship and it’s more intense than other ships I’ve had in the recent past. I don’t know what this means or says about me, but somehow I feel like I’ve betrayed something.
