I like Peggy/Steve, but not as an epic romance, which I guess puts me in the same camp as most. I like it as a first love for Steve, someone who believed in him before he was Cap and gave him the chance to sort of blossom where he'd never had the chance before. I see them as two people who never would have ended up with a happy ever after together, even if things had gone differently, but who would have remained very close friends who cared deeply about each other, with no jealousy over future partners or regrets about the time that they did have... that's the vibe I get from them.

I'd much rather see both of them winding up with other people, I want to see Peggy move on romantically just as Steve has to, but... I like that at the start of it, they were two people who inspired and believed in each other, and even if it was never meant to be romantic love for life/soul mates, it was something sweet and important.
