Re: how did you get to the profession you are now?

I pushed myself too hard while I was getting my bachelor's, so I burned out and wound up not going for my master's. That meant I couldn't really do the thing I'd originally wanted to do (social research) and had to pick something else. And, well...I'd started working at a bank my senior year, and while I didn't like the particular institution I was working for, I did like the work itself.

I'm on the credit union side of the tracks, now, and have been for a while, and overall, it's nice.
