Re: The Walking Dead

I still see Michonne/Rick as a possibility. I hate to keep saying this, but after Jessie, Rick does end up with someone from his original group (and they're still together as of current volume), so I have a lot of hope that Michonne and him could be end game. They really seemed to be building it up this season. But then they kept the Jessie drama, despite all the other changes they have made. SIGH.

what the hell Rick!

That's what I'm hoping as well. GIVE ME THAT SWEET, SWEET RICHONNE.

Hopefully. I read the comics up to like...100.

But yeah, this storyline sucks.

Yeaaaaaaaaa, Rick/Jessie is getting on my nerves considering how much the Rick/Michonne relationship has been built up this season. I genuinely thought they were going to get together, and then...well. :/

I hope if Jessie's husband is abusive (I know he is in the comics) she kicks him to the curb (though I know it's more likely that Rick will kill him, but JFC I wish Rick hadn't got himself into this drama), but I do not want them together.

I guess despite the marriage Rick sees Jessie as a safer option because he considers Michonne part of his family and he probably doesn't want to risk the relationship they have.

I have a feeling they are going to go that way with Jessie's husband. The moment on the porch with the way he said "my wife cut your hair" seemed to have a bit if an aggressive tone, and then he was like a whole different person at the party until that one part before he walked away? He's like a simmering pot no one notices yet.

If he does ends up abusive and then killing who he killed in the comics though, holy crap. I do agree that it will probably be Rick that kills him and I hope show!Jessie ends up actually leaving him then forced to separate...

They probably will as he's already weirdly possessive and I think Jessie flinched a bit in their last scene together. (Or did I imagine that?) There is something not right about that dude.

Ooo. I haven't actually read the comics, just heard about them. I don't remember hearing about this death, but considering this shows track record of killing people off it isn't exactly unlikely. (Though if they're going to do it, they should do it in a different way, imo. Keep things fresh.)

Yeah! I swear I saw her flinch too at the party. Right? As he was leaving the two of them...

Also, oops! I can't help myself, I talk about the comics quite a bit, and if you don't mind, I'll tell you the death. But don't scroll if you don't want the comic spoilers -- because who knows if they even will? In fact, I bet they'll probably have it be someone else.

** SPOILERS! **

In the comics, Jessie's husband goes into a rage after they're forcefully separated, confronting Rick with a knife I believe I remember. They're in a standoff when the leader's spouse (Regina in the comics, Reg in the show! They sex swapped them :D) interrupts all, "You put that knife down right this instant and get yourself together!" or something to that effect. Basically, she tries to diffuse a situation that is 100000000000x more dangerous than she things, and Jessie's husband turns and straight up cuts her throat. Rick definitely kills him. If I remember correctly, the leader even tells Rick to do it.

I think it could still happen, or he'll end up killing someone else who just happens to be on the sidelines when he ends up in the final confrontation with Rick.

Ooo, that's fucked up indeed. (Also, I didn't realize that the leader in the comic was a man. I like that they swapped the genders!)

I could see that happening...but more than likely it'll be one of Rick's group than some guy we've barely met. That way it will hurt more.

Maybe Eugene or Noah? I don't think the show would kill off one of the 'mains' in that way... it would be something a bit more dramatic. (Like Glenn's comic death, which I hope to god doesn't happen, but probably will. Except a part of me thinks it'll be Daryl instead, but another part of me says, "No, the internet would explode and the ratings would plummet; they would never chance that.)
