I'm going to put my guess in for the Carmilla Webseries fandom because there's two authors writing this mega-long fic together and I can't stand either of them, they're so ridiculously self-involved. But my entire Tumblr dash is full of praise for them. I just don't understand the idea that fans will be appeased by some gentle hand-holding or flirting between the main couple when they're actually canon is ridiculous. We're not 12.

Or this might be totally different fandom, then ignore me.
