I still love Carol, too. She's a rich, fascinating character with a beautiful, talented actress. I wish all WD characters were as interesting as Carol.

I still wouldn't say I like what she did, though I did sort of find it hilarious in a morbid way. In my mind while questionable, she didn't have a lot of great options; she clearly wasn't doing it for kicks.

Exactly. I'm not all 'rah, rah, Carol, go terrify some kids!' But she handled the issue as she thought she should. She *has* gotten harder over time, but that's to be expected. And yes - her character and arc are *awesome*.
