I keep hearing that there's all sorts of cut shit from Dark World, like a Ridley Scott-level amount of recutting that could be done to make a richer story. Not only just for Loki, but for Malekith, who really got short-shrifted in that film. I like it, but it's a thin-feeling flick.

Is there such a version of the film available? Because that would definitely fill out the movie.

Not at the moment sadly. The home release got the usual deleted scenes but not much you could splice together as a fan edit. There was a lovely extended scene involving Frigga at least. I thought she got kind of screwed over as well as I remember there been a lot of press about how this film expands on her relationship with her sons and we got like two lines in the end.

Those of us who love Thor are holding out for Ragnarok being his Winter Soldier moment seeing as TDW didn't deliver.
