Re: Terrible Stuff You Enjoy
(Anonymous) 2015-03-12 01:10 am (UTC)(link)Arnie's first English Language production (whom they had to overdub because his English was appalling, and then overdub again once it improved). it is basically an excuse for Arnie and some other body builders to flex their pecs and wiggle their nipples on screen. So help me, I love it, even if you can hear traffic noise in the back ground of the Mount Olympus scenes and see that Zeus' lightning bolt is a spray painted bent rebar.
And the "gorilla-bear" fight scene. Oh god. And in amongst all this you can see the one actor who is actually trying to act. And you can spot the exact moment she gives up trying to as well.
It is probably the worst movie every made, beating out even Ed Wood. I do so love that movie, and whenever I feel down I'll shove it on DVD and enjoy. And I won't enjoy it "ironically" either, I'll actually enjoy the story itself.

Sometimes I just can't comprehend that Arnold Schwarzenegger was a governor. Like, people voted for him.
I think Surf Nazis Must Die might have that beat. That was the worst movie I have ever seen. :|
