(Anonymous) 2015-03-13 02:33 pm (UTC)(link)I have to admit - my first reaction was laughter at the idea of Mal'ganis going "neener, neener, neener" to Arhas [still is]. But agreed, there's not much difference since infected citizens would lead to risen undead and you'd still have to kill them. I just wish Jaina would have let Arthas explain his rationale instead of her going "Nope, not helping" and walking away. [I still wish that cut scene had her there during Arthas' death scene. It would have given her some good closure]

The scripted event at the beginning of the CoS dungeon--where I think her exact words were "I can't watch you do this" --always made me feel as though she was admitting he was doing the only thing he felt could be done, I certainly agree with you: not very supportive, J.
I guess the only thing that waiting for the Stratholme citizens to succumb and letting them rise as undead before slaughtering them would have accomplished would have been to make it slightly easier on the conscience.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-13 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)I believe you're recalling the scripted dialog correctly. It sticks in my mind that she does say something to that effect.
And yeah, slightly easier on the conscience, but really, she should have been there supporting him [and possibly convincing him not to go to Northrend]
