I think that may be a parody, but goddamn if there aren't way too many animes where the mouths are so close to the eyes as to be almost level with them (I'm looking at you, Air and Kanon) and it looks SO FUCKING HORRIBLE. What anyone sees in this style of "art" is completely freaking beyond me.

That would be the Kanon 2002 official art (or at the very least, a parody of it). The 2006 remake of it is a lot better, trust me. XD;
