One, the "Key is ugly!!" brigade is a case of hype aversion gone wrong, just like the Haruhi haters, the FFVII haters, and whoever else suddenly and blatantly pops up declaring something to be horrible after it's enjoyed immense popularity for a while. Two, this person's an idiot that can't substantiate their own argument, so I figured I'd give them the same treatment.

Well, then what do you make of the people who've given the series a try (yes, Kanon 2006,7, whatever year it was) and haven't seen it hyped up anywhere and still think it looks ugly?

I think they have bad taste or they're blind? Everyone has stuff they like. Key is mine. Kanon 2006 is beautiful, emotive and generally incredible. If you think it's ugly, I think less of you, but that's about it. But if you say it's ugly for the sake of trolling, which this person appears to be doing? Well, then, that's a whole other thing.

Just saying? Thinking less of people, calling them blind, or saying they have bad taste for happening to dislike a series you love doesn't really help your case any.

(And sure, the visuals are impressive, but that doesn't change the fact that their eyes are so huge and their lower face so small it's disturbing.)
