What does piss me off is when people assume that if you don't like Sora it's because of him killing off Org. XIII. Don't hate Sora for that - hate the writers. (They're the ones who wrote in villains that were more generally appealing than the heroes. I mean, WTF?)
I wish KH2 had been all Roxas. Screw hearts, man.

With the Organisation... I realise they needed to be stopped
otherwise Square wouldn't have a plot, but yeah, they were more appealing than our cardboard hero (and Kairi - what is she even there for?), but a little remorse might have been nice. Just some acknowledgement from him. (I mean, I'm used to videogame heroes killing people left right and centre, but these 'heroes' are usually a bit on the mad sideTomb Raider wtf)I liked Roxas, he should've been in it more D: I mean... there's a lot of character stuff there to work with. I didn't play Chain of Memories (because really, who's going to buy a whole new console thinger just for one crappy sequel?) so maybe I'm missing huge plot points (which would explain why KH2 was one big ball of WTF), but why did he leave the Organisation - and his friends - behind? And, like... how does he feel about that? His friendship with Axel freaking broke my heart the way they ended up... It would have been a better game ;_; < /incoherence >

I didn't get very far in CoM either - I just watched the vids at kh-vids.net and absorbed the rest from a friend who did play the game. Roxas doesn't even appear in it, ergh, but Axel's personality is like... totally different. O.o Hopefully the new game that's coming out for DS will explain more - apparently it will star a bunch of Org XIII members.
As for the console - there are some great GBA emulators (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gba/vboyadvance.html) out there, and the rom> (http://www.mininova.org/tor/642689) is fairly easy to get ahold of. :P

He was so much better written in KHI. Seriously. I liked him in that game, damn it. And even in CoM, at first (he got stupid in the middle and I started to get upset with him. Granted, he was being manipulated, but there were some cases where I was just like SHUT UP AND LISTEN DUMBASS. Like Vexen. Vexen's genuinely trying to help at one point [Ok, likely only to get back at Axel/Marluxia but still. Enemy of my enemy = friend] and he goes NO I THINK ILL JUST STAB U LOL.]
But in KHI, he is genuinely doing good and helping people.
I do hate the writers. I fecking hate what they did in KHII. Nice job, morons, you made the villains more appealing than the main character (unlike in CoM, where while appealing it was VERY OBVIOUS That they were evil motherfuckers.) and also made the plot nigh incomprehensible. thank you, Square. x_X;

In CoM I was kinda to busy going, "NOOOO DON'T FORGET NAMINE" to sympathize with Sora, though. -.-;;
I think KH2 was just Square basically giving into the fangirls and writing in a sprawling group of super-hot bishie villains with mutilated characters and added gay *cough*Axel*cough*. And what can I say? It worked. :P
I just wish they would have waited until the second game to kill off Larxene. She was one of the more interesting of the lot. :/

I was in the theory-mongering part of the fandom for... years, I think. Since KHI came out. And we were positive that KHII was going to be ABOUT Roxas. To star him, to be about his journey to make himself whole.
No. Instead we get KHII (I wanted to smack Sora when he came out of that pod. I don't OMG HAET him but god, after Roxas' story.. dafhehdafl grr) and then this sorry 157349027q5924794578548/2 days shite, which is probably going to be nothing but pandering to the akuroku fanbrats (I know there are reasonable akuroku fangirls, I'm reffering to the fucking moron ones.)

Square is all about milking and fanservicing these days - I mean, when it comes right down to it the KH series as a whole is just milking cash cow A (Disney) and cash cow B (Final Fantasy). Then they found cash cow C (evil slashy bishies) and they're going to milk that one to death as well.
I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the slashy pretty boys... depth, consistency and respectability be damned. :P
