Your interpretation was not how I interpreted OP's comment. I thought it was more along the lines of "I don't understand this thing. Does it really work this way? Please fill me in."

This is something I notice because if someone says they're gay or straight it's only "I don't get it" but if it's anything to do with asexuality or aromanticness or trans people, it's "are they lying for some reason?" Feh
