My problem with Pandemic is that you need to play it with a group of people who are similarly experienced. Otherwise one or two people take over the strategy planning while everyone else has to follow lead, or the experts are left in despair over everyone else fumbling it, lol.

Otherwise it really has lots of cool expansions with different strategy options.

When we played it it was me and my partner (who is a microbiology/biochemistry major) and one person who was a non-major.

We won in six rounds lol. ymmv I guess.

lol. I actually study biology as well, didn't help much. although I'm sure microbiologists are more wary of centres of infection!

we won after the second round, but we newbies would have liked to screw up by ourselves.
