There's little visible skin in Dragon Age, but the female leather/mail armors have ridiculous boob outlines/boob cups, and the female leather armors have that weird bondage collar.

I once read something somewhere that the collars were a way of hiding the joining line between the head mesh and the body mesh. Even "naked" all the characters (in both genders) wear a collar/choker/necklace. Maybe the male model for the leather armour is just high enough to hit that line.

I kinda to see what you mean about the outlines, it's a bit of a silly thing, and one of the reasons I tend to avoid the Tower-style mage robes, but then I put my Mage Warden in armour very early on, eventually graduating to Massive Plate which, and barring making a bit of adjustment for a female shape, it doesn't make a point of the breasts at all.

But just go poking around a bit on Nexus mods and you will see people have made plenty of skimpy armour mods for anyone who wants to see piles of skin and doesn't care about logic in armour. I personally want to see all skin covered, even if there are boob patches. I even trade Morrigan's robes for something more discrete.
