Honestly I find this better than the people who brag about how desensitized they are to those kinds of pictures (I understand that it happens; it's the bragging and acting like the rest of the world is just oversensitive that I hate).

Text: I tell my friends and family that just because I like ultra violet horror movies doesn’t mean I like looking at real pictures and videos of people dying. That I find the people who do look at it to be disgusting.

I’m lying to them. I love looking at pictures who have died horribly, it makes me feel less like I want to die, it encourages me to keep on living.

I’m sorry I am such a bad person, I know it’s wrong of me.

You aren't a bad person. I have seen execution videos, drive-by murders on LiveLeak, photos of dead children...I don't love seeing it but it also helps me WANT to live. Seeing what death IS can make you fight to live another day and not give up. Seeing what people can do to each other, knowing that you will no longer be in motion and look pale and waxy- don't knock it. Dealing with the horrible reality of death can help you decide to live & live well until you're MEANT to shuffle off this mortal coil.
