Artist Question

For those of you who are artists and join a fest where you can choose the author you want to work with, what draws you to particular summary (beyond favorite pairings/kinks)?

Lots of detail explaining what the fic is, mentions of worldbuilding, mentions of particular items that might be fun to draw?

What turns you off when reading the author summaries?

If it's subject matter I enjoy drawing, if I joined a fest there must be something I already want to draw but if the author also hit on notes of the things I love drawing, then I'd want to go for that as well.

Being overly detailed or seeming like you'll be picky can turn me away from wanting to draw something. It's good to have an idea in your head so the artist has something to go on, but if you want the artist to draw that EXACT idea you're often going to end up creating frustration for both you and the artist. Give them some wiggle room to be creative, leave room in your ideas for the collaboration aspect of it.
