Haha, oh Charlie. No opinion on the real guy versus the character (since I don't really know the real guy outside of very few interviews, he seems nice though) but I think Charlie is my favorite on Sunny.

He often at least comes off as the good guy of the gang, because he's just too dumb to know better and is easily bullied into doing bad things.

Charlie Kelly would be fun to have around for a day every few months. Just when things in your life get mundane. But day to day? He would drive you crazy.

I totally understand. People have some issues with Charlie Day because of what he said about Rinko during the filming of Pacific Rim (not being able to understand her I think? but with the way he worded it). Where as Charlie Kelly, albeit has moments of darkness (that manipulation in Charlie and Dee Find Love, omg, among other things), has some truly insightful moments where we can prefer him to, say, Dennis and Mac, lol. Maybe.

Yes! After *that* episode it feels like there's still residual sexual tension b/w them (although I could just be projecting). I kinda like them together, as they're arguably the least horrible members of the gang (but still pretty horrible).

If you're projecting, then I have been too. They've been considerable less toxic to each other, although maybe not overly touchy (although omg switching sides and BLOOD PACT in Frank Retires), and I think that could be a subtexty clue. They admitted they just trash on each other for the sake of the others.

They're definitely still horrible though, lol.

Yeah, I love that Charlie and Dee made a blood pact when Charlie wouldn't make one with Mac. It's great when Charlie and Dee team up (one of my fav eps is "Charlie Rules the World" where he and Dee take over an online game). I hope they address them hooking up in future episodes.

OMG I got so excited by the kiss(es). I did not know I wanted that so much. Especially how it was Charlie who initiated it (as in was the one who leaned in). Both times. That was really my favourite part of it.

I really hope they go back to it at some point.
