Woah woah woah, how is the game technical wise?

Uh. Playable? (PS4)

The graphics are gorgeous, but Arno is rarely doing what I want him to do. Shooting people is more fun than "properly" assassinating anyone bc Arno ends up spinning like a ferris wheel and getting himself KO'd when you're too close to the enemy. There's tons of glitches; the framerate is better than it used to be which means I can play it without getting headaches at least.

Ah, right. Obviously I've heard worse but still, at least you're having fun with it.
Right now I'm a previous-gen pleb so I'll probably never play the game.

It's my first AssCreed, actually. If it weren't for the characters, I'm not sure I'd still be playing it. But Bonaparte and Sade in particular are hilarious, imho.

Well I recommend getting a copy of Black Flag if you can, it's tons of fun as an open world pirate simulator.

If there's a cheap copy around, I'll probably pick it up. I love me some pirates.

Terrible. Glitched quests left and right, content that can't be accessed without signing up to all sorts of shite (one of which, I payed money to get on my laptop because I don't have a fucking iPad or whatever, and then it didn't FUCKING WORK. I will never be able to get a number of costumes or ever see what is in those FUCKING blue chests!) Climbing mechanic is FAR too context based "What's that, you'd like to climb over that sofa and stab that bitch? How about we have you hang off that bookshelf until the guard turn around and sees you instead?"

Also, the hidden blade is exclusively context based now.

Better story and better characters than AssCreed 3, though. My advise, play black flag. It is so far the best of all the games. Played it already? play it again.

Wrong, they recently patched that. All chests are now accessible for everyone, no tie-in apps etc. necessary. Not entirely sure if it's available for the PC version already, but that's definitely not a thing anymore with the latest patch.

Ok, well if that's true I need to play it again (I stopped playing having completed the main story) but my other complaints still stand.

Multiplayer's pretty enjoyable, though.

Yep, I was pretty pissed for the longest time because I couldn't get the Initiates site to work, but all the blue and golden chests are now easy loot for everyone. At least I can look cool now while all the other Parisians float into buildings and stuff.

Multiplayer isn't working for me though. Meh.
