Why is that stupid? I'm constantly discovering new music via film/tv soundtracks.

It just feels a little lame considering the episodes that their songs capped off happened to be my favorites, I guess. :|a It doesn't have to really be stupid, but I guess I think to myself "is it just an extension of you geeking out about the show, or was it the music getting your attention?"

That could totally be part of it too, and I still think it's not stupid! Maybe that's just because I've been known to hunt down and fall in love with songs I first discovered as... lyrics quoted by fanfic authors. In their fanfic. :D

I started listening to Rush because of Trailer Park Boys and I don't think that's stupid, they're a great band (P.S. I'm not Canadian!)
