I haven't kept up to date. Are they going to show the last three episodes of the new season or not? I thought BBCAmerica was airing them just a day behind. I still hear commercials that this Monday's episode is "all new".

As far as i know the BBC hasn't made a final determination, and Clarkson is due in the BBC offices on Monday for that. If he is fired or quits (Clarkson dropped some hints to a tabloid he was thinking of just quitting), then it is over, if they can swing a final final-warning out of it then it might be back on. I don't see how this week's can be new, because they were unable to film any studio links on Wednesday last week. It might be a clipshow of pre-filmed material. There are a few Stig-test drives and prefilmed May and Hammond segments that could be sewn into a presenterless clip show.

So BBCA is just lying then. All righty then!

Well they aren't technically lying, yet, they are just being very optimistic about what could happen and selecting the best possible outcome.
