I agree that it's addictive but that doesn't mean it's good

I think tumblr is kind of like the, I don't know, the McDonald's Chicken Nuggets or the potato chips of online communities or something

It's actually kind of completely awful for a lot of the things that make a community good and its structure actively encourages a lot of toxic behavior, but at the same time, it's completely addictive

that's not a good thing
