Skipping the obvious that you're a piece of shit for liking that innocent people are victims of racism and murder, there's no logical reason it should make you should feel better, either. Your country has problems as big as Ferguson, but you're either not aware of them or so convinced of the greatness of your country that you're unaware that its problems are problems.

Whenever people talk about how bad America's race problems are, I just think back to the 2005 Paris riots.

I love France, but Arab people can be treated pretty awfully there and that's a big reason why my family moved to the US.

I got to see the library I used to visit as a toddler completely burned though. It shook me to think that I'd lived there once and look what had happened.

Yeah that is why I put it in confessions not in this is an awesome thing everyone should be doing. Yes I know that in my own country someone has led a chant of how they want less of my ethnicity and that when my brother messed around with his bike people asked if he was stealing it. I just like to cheer myself up with the fact that I'm less likely to get shot.

You're fine, OP. It's always reassuring to read about someone else's problems because it makes you feel as though these things are universal and your country isn't alone in the parts that are fucked up. It's just that there's always someone who thinks confessions are a good way of calling people 'pieces of shit' for totally human feelings. IDK, it must be nice to be so damned perfect with completely appropriate feelings and responses all of the time. I wish the ayrt would give lessons or something.

Or they think that racism is only white on black. Not white on Asian or Middle Eastern. Like is the case in many parts of Europe. Or a majority non-white ethnic group on minority ethnic groups as is the case in China with the Han vs everyone else.
