I think I see... so like anything that touches that thing is damaged, even if that person isn't trying to be harmful? That person possesses the passive quality of constantly damaging everything, even if they're not abusive? Can a person who isn't a bad person be toxic?

'Bad' is a tricky word. But yeah, it'd be like... My father isn't a bad person. He means well and I love him. But, because of the way that he is, dealing with him is frustrating and sapping and harmful and there's nothing I can really do about it. I don't think he's abusive but I might call him toxic in that case.
